A lamp behind the dial illuminates the pierced astrological blue moon phase resulting in a delightful twinkling star effect. Beneath are polished brass weight shells and pendulum with a center disc that recalls the dial. Reeded columns with turned top and bottom caps flank the door.The sculpted base features a distinctive decorative cutout with book-matched olive ash burl overlays in the corners of the lower door panel.
